The Stubai Valley and its communities
The Stubai valley, mostly shortened known as "Stubai", is located in the Austrian Alps in the enchanting Tyrol.
Because of its location south of the nearby provincial capital Innsbruck, the Stubai is a popular holiday destination since a long time.
Schönberg at the entrance of the valley next to the Brenner motorway, Mieders with the Serlesbahnen, the rose village Telfes, Fulpmes with the Schlick2000 and Neustift with the Elfer lifts and at the end of the valley, the largest glacier skiing area in Austria, the Stubai Glacier.

Neustift
Being close to the Stubai Glacier Neustift is the most famous and the most visited place of the valley.
Approximately 4km behind Fulpmes starts the sprawling municipal territory of Neustift, which reaches deep into the glacier regions.
The highest point is with 3.505m the Zuckerhütl in the main ridge of the Stubai Alps, which is directly situated on the border to Italy.
The community is geographically the second largest after Sölden in Tyrol and the third largest in Austria.

Fulpmes
In the middle of the Stubai Fulpmes is located at about 930 meters above sea level. At the foot of the Schlick mountain can be found superb recreational facilities throughout the whole year. Some specials are the Adventure Park and the Alpine discovery park with climbing, the bivouac grotto, the zip line, the Alpine plants nature trail, the Scheibenweg trail and probably the most beautiful panoramic lake in the Stubai Alps in the hiking area Schlick 2000.

Mieders
Lying at 942 m above sea level, the tranquil village of Mieders invites to recover and taking a rest. While tourism runs its crazy course elsewhere, Mieders is characterised by its active village life, simple farms and cosy village inns.
The small holiday village at the entrance of the Stubai valley offers pure relaxation. The activity mountain Hochserles is a paradise for winter sports and hiking enthusiasts.

Telfes
With its wonderful southern exposure, the village of Telfes with its 1,500 inhabitants offers everything that makes holidays in the Stubaital a special pleasure. Tennis camp, indoor and outdoor pool with sauna or the predatory bird park are only some of the numerous leisure facilities. A walk along the beautiful Telfer Wiesn with the incomparable larch forests is a must when spending your summer holidays in the Stubai!

Schönberg
Only ten minutes away from the Olympic city of Innsbruck lies the picturesque village of Schönberg with its dream views of the white summits at the end of the valley.
Thanks to its central location, Schönberg is the perfect starting point for numerous excursions. Innsbruck with its points of interest, the Swarovski Crystal Worlds or the neighbouring South Tyrol are all only a few minutes away by car.

Walks and hikes to scenic nature sites, easy routes on medium altitudes and themed trails - the offer is extensive.
In addition to quaint huts and tasty Stubai delicacies, impressive panoramic views are probably the most rewarding experiences when hiking.
With the walkable sundial, the go-times-ways and the natural venue "Elfer Gratzengrübl" attractions have been created that reflect the rhythm of the sun and nature.
The summit platform TOP OF TYROL at 3,210 m offers breath taking views of the Ötztal Alps, the Stubai Alps and the Dolomites.
Near the Eisgrat mountain station you can discover the fascinating world of the millennia-old glacial ice in the ice cave.
The during the last years newly created themed trails such as the "Scheibenweg" and the Alpine plants trail are exactly right for the whole family.
And anyone looking for cool refreshment, is in good hands on the panoramic lake near the Schlickeralm with their homemade dairy products.
The new Serles tram connects the mountain station with the monastery "Maria Waldrast" and ensures family adventure and comfort.
A fast-paced adventure is a ride on the steepest alpine coaster, the 2.8km long summer toboggan run.
Outdoor area with lots of greenery, slides, adventure-, children's- & sports pool.
Indoor area with 25 m sports pool, lazy river, adventure slides, whirlpool, children's pool and much more...

Sporty fun on the Stubai glaciers and mountains, warm hospitality and traditional cuisine promises a fun-filled skiing holiday in Tyrol.
Find the longest, lighted, artificial snow and groomed (night) sledding run in the Stubai Valley. This leads about 8km long from the mountain station to Neustift to the valley station.
Snow guarantee from October to June and a 10km-long downhill leading slope excites snowboarders and skiers from all over the world.
The BIG Family Camp for children lies separately, yet it is located amidst the ski area. On gently inclining beginners’ pistes the little guests are gently introduced to this great pleasure.
The Skiline altitude profile measurement differences the altitude covered and is calculated and compared to the results of your group.
Set against the backdrop of the imposing Kalkkögel mountains the tricks and runs in the Stubaipark Schlick or in the Free Nature Park are very spectacular.
In addition to gentle runs down to the village and the training slope for kids at the Valley Station, the rest stops on offer in the many quaint huts complete the winter experience when skiing in this small, but fine skiing area.
For example, the toboggan run from the Elfer leads about six kilometers directly to the village center of Neustift and is one of the longest routes in Tyrol.
